Cleanroom technology has been around for a number of years and has gone through numerous changes since the worlds first laminar flow hoods were developed. We will continue to see changes transcend the cleanroom industry from all aspects of construction, industry, financial, just to name a few. Cleanrooms transcend almost all manufacturing applications. At some point in the manufacturing process, there is a need for clean environments to product good. Clean technology has improved the quality levels of finish products across the board.

Regarding cleanrooms at Luwa, Luwa divested its assets of the cleanroom technology division to Controlled Environments Group in 2009. Controlled Environments Group, LLC acquired the assets of Luwa’s Houston Office primarily focused on cleanroom technology. CEG continues to manufacture the Lepco Membrane Diffusion Ceiling System. CEG also provides cleanroom products sales, cleanroom consultancy, cleanroom testing and certification.

Several of the former Lepco/Luwa Lepco employees have gone to Digital Air Control, Inc. and are continuing to service cleanroom customers. Digital Air Control launched a design build division in 2011, focusing on cleanrooms and laboratories design and construction. Digital Air Control’s staff are well versed in cleanroom technology from the mid 1980′s to today. The staff have continued to stay current in cleanroom technology and construction approaches.
