Cadd Position

Luwa USA, Inc., a Houston, Texas based company and leader in the Design/Build Cleanroom Construction industry since 1969, is accepting applications for the permanent employment of a AUTOCAD person with detailed knowledge of HVAC, architectural and electrical. Design drawing for commercial and light industrial projects.

The position will require the candidate to be responsible for the drafting required for proposals, permitting, construction and as-built drawings. Assist sales with bid drawings as required. Review and generate pre-construction design drawings with team leader/project manager. Update project drawings as instructed. Collect and put together submittals for customer. Maintain project drawings. Work on standardization. Complete as-builts at the end of the project.

You will work closely with the team leader/project manager on design of the project. Work with project assistant on all close out documents.

Associate Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and proficiency in all facets of architectural, HVAC piping, ductwork, & electrical drawing will be required.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER/PROJECT MANAGER

Luwa USA, Inc., a Houston, Texas based company and leader in the Design/Build Cleanroom Construction industry since 1969, is accepting applications for the permanent employment of a Design Engineer/Project Manager with detailed knowledge of HVAC system design and project management as they relate to cleanroom construction.

The position will require the candidate to be responsible for the overall design and construction management of each project assigned, which will include detailed HVAC (ductwork, air handler application, exhaust system, piping, chillers, boilers, humidifier and control system design) drawings for permit and then implementing the design through the use of subcontractors. You will be responsible for the on-time, in-budget completion of projects in accordance with specifications and to the owner’s satisfaction. While HVAC may be your strong point, you will be expected to learn electrical power distribution and simple architectural wall design as they relate to projects. Other project responsibilities will be overall project design coordination, client communications, MEP equipment buyout, scheduling in Microsoft Project or Primavera, daily coordination with our onsite company project superintendent, maintaining accurate and up to date project cost data against budgets and project cost forecasts.

Cleanroom experience is a plus. P.E. license is a plus. The position is based in Houston, Texas with light to medium travel to job sites as required by project and customer needs.
